Almost all the cricketers who opened restaurants under their name have shut shop including icons like Sachin, Ganguly, etc, except for Kapil i believe Smile  Now Dhoni is venturing to start a cricket academy.  How far will cricketers succeed in their diversified venture ?   Sachin might have succeeded if he opened a chain of restaurant for middle class rather than elite.  Check out the success rate of  Sarvana Bhavan, Adigas,  Debate guys

Pramod i believe these guys are misguided in their investment plans, i hope Dhoni succeeds in cricket academy, which will be coming up in BiharSmile  Unfortunately Dada's plan was shot down by Paschim Bengal govt.

i don't know much on this, but dhoni I think has not taken eatables joint, he has taken up education field. this has tremendous potential till he is captain he can gain base for it by his brand value.

umesh ji, if you like, I humbly offer you a banner size 125by 125 of your blog. on my marriagebook site.

a surprize gift, if it can be called a gift.

The common man wants to explore these restaurants but cannot because of prices, ultimately they shut down!! Hope Dhoni manages to start his academy.
Very right DS, history shows success of people offering goods at cheap prices.

Yes I love roadside food, cheap and fresh!! We cannot see the cockroaches and mice in the kitchen of big restaurants so we think its clean!

An academy is a good idea. It is important to recognise talent and nurture it. I remember Baichung Bhutia was also planning to launch a sports academy.

Dhoni should offer free scholarship to poor players who cannot afford exhorbitant coaching fee. I hope he does not commercialise it too muchSmile

free scholarships etc. are just gimmicks,

I remember many of the winners of the commonwealth came from humble backgrounds. Talents like these should be helped financially.
