i loved writing for this contest....i knew what i had to write...so thoroughly enjoyed writing... it wasnt as confusing as DELL change is easy contest... it sent out a clear message what the sponsorers expected from the bloggers

this is one colorful contest.. yes i too loved writing for it... colors are such a category where u can write anything and everything, take a dig at your imagination and let it run free.. like hell :-)

When the contest was announced I did not get what we were supposed to write and so decided to give it a miss... Then the topic description was changed a bit giving it more clearty... Then I wrote my post but was still not sure if thats the thing that the organisers were looking for. So I wrote another piece!!! Results eagerlly awaited, May the Best entries win :) :) :)

Since sketching and painting are my hobbies, and I am quite passionate about them, I had to write for this. Absolutely loved writing on the topic. It also brought back some real touching memories.

The topic and what one needs to write on it seems pretty clear for the Hp Take Flight with Colour Contest!

In my case, I have gone out of topic I guess!! That was a short story that came to my mind as soon as I heard the word "colours". Dint even read what the rules exactly were! So after i submitted the entry I actually went through my post and I think it has gone off the road! Maybe I could edit it a little to bring it on to track! But I guess its not all about winning! I just loved writing it! So dint bother about the editing part!

I did see lots of beautiful imaginations and touching posts in this contest! All the best to all the participants!  Contests are one way I get to know about so many good blogs in here! Started following so many wonderful bloggers after going through their entries!!

I too was caught in a similar thing. I have written everything about colour expect about the thing that was asked. Later on, added a few more words to make it relevant to the contest.

I did not realize that this contest was closed  until I had read this thread. For the first time in my life, I had written a post with headings for this contest. And there is nothing important to be mentioned except that I started receiving a considerable number of comments. However, they all look spammy. I am going to delete them in a few days and keep only the good ones. However, for the other contest ( Change is easy ) , none of the comments looked like comments left for the sake of commenting. They have added value to my post.

I believe the idea is to promote colour print usage, HP needs to rethink on the strategy of their pricing of the cartridges, there are plenty of players who are refilling, cheaper tech of ink bottles coming into the market, which is eating into their market share.  The contest per say is just a teaser for us to be creative.

Those refilled cartriges don't work properly. I got a cartridge refilled in that way only to realise that I had wasted money. When we wish to have quality, we need to spend money.

I personally liked the theme of the contest and though I did not participate, It was fun even to read the colorful and innovative entries of many. All the very best to all participants :) The judges sure are going to have a tough time picking the winners!

Dhiraj, the idea of having this contest is to encourage usage of colour print outs but their pricing is an issue for cartridges, unless they rationalise and bring down the same it is not going to yield much result.

It was an interesting topic. Food for thought pondering what is currently in black and white that I would love to see in color. With lot of things already in color and photos and fims seeming too cliched, one really needed to think. Lot of people have come up with lot of interesting angles and it was interesting reading the various posts. Hope HP don't do a dampener like Dove by defining relavence too narrowly. If companies regularly do that the participation will be lesser and limited participation will not give the required reach for the brands. I am sure they are not spending so much for 25-30 bloggers to participate. Let us wait and watch what they do.

i was eagerly waiting for the results..but alas!! ..we have to wait till 13th

I had a geart experience while writing my entry..initially i had no idea what to write and so decided not to participate..but after more than 5 days after the start i dreamt of some colourful people..all in different colours..and then a very bad experience related to skin colour and society's reaction to it led me to writing out my post..

Hey Are the results delayed? I loved to participate in the contest especially because the issue I blogged about is close to my heart.
