How do contests work ?

Each contest asks you to write about a specified thing. You post it on your own blog and submit the link to your post on the contest page. People can vote for your entry. The criteria to decide the winners is different in each contest and is clearly mentioned on the contest page.

How do we keep tarck of the current contests though? WOuldn't it be easier if we had a separate tab for contests?

Yeah!!!

But if you're thinking it that way then the basic layout of the site itself is outdated and makes the current posts/indivine submission cramped and thrown behind, only to be pushed further behind by the hordes of new entries.
