Co-Author Problem

First,I have a co-author, who is actually my brother, understandable he lives with me. We use the same blog. When I joined indiblogger i registered it under my name. But my brother now wants to join too. How can I add a co-author to my blog over here. Second, I am aware of an issue, that people loggin in from same Ip were marked as sinners--i mean spammers. So if my brother also starts using the indiblogger and he uses the same IP (clearly we share the PC) what would happen...?

@bipul , as of now indiblogger supports only a sinlge author for a blog. They might bring out an upgrade soon. But till then you will have to share your login details with your brother. You can go through the FAQs here. Smile

The best way as I see...

hive off to two blogs! split both yours and his posts into two blogs! Simble!!

Actually that's a pretty plain simple solution.. which we dont want, I am interested to know what Inidiblogger has in provision for such cases. As many people wont want to split up their teams.. as with me! Can u tell me how to get a quick ping on the indiblogger-admin-staff on this topic?

And what about two people say siblings having their respective different blogs and Indi accounts but use the same machine (which means same IP) ; can there be a problem in that case too?

Yes Arti. It can be a problem, but then again, we have to trust! Dont we?

We have to trust and spread the love, but who betray our trust need to be dealt with.

It will not be a problem always. Only if something fishy is found to be happening, such things are taken into consideration. But in such cases, one can always explain the situation. Using common machine or IP is not a sin, you seeCool

@Hemal Yup right! Trust to some extent is a crucial factor in a virtual world like this.

Thanks Animesh. That was what I was trying to point out that genuine cases/exceptions can exist always! And the system should take into consideration such cases too before implementing any policies.

Okay Bipul.. Tagged IndiTeam!!

I think, this can be a genuine concern when you have a group blogging site. But I really dont know which way is the best way to address and wont offer my two cents and leave it to IndiBlogger Team to deal with Wink
