I think we should all follow each other on digg. It is very helpful in increasing traffic.

Totally agree with you. There should a sharing platform too. I can't see any share button in Digg to share your diggs.

But I think only following each other will not give any benefit bcz digg has no option to share latest diggs to followers or friends.

We need to find a way to help each others gettings diggs. That way we can generate a reasonable traffic from digg (helping each other FAIRLY)..

But I dont get any traffic from digg and am clueless as to how it generates traffic for people. I like stumbleupon better as it gives some hits to me sometimes but digg has never worked for me

yes, stumbleupon works but it generates low quality traffic. The average time spent on my site from stumbleupon visitors is very less and they hardly leave a comment.

@arti . are you using the mobile version? because when I do, it posts my replies twice, no idea why.

@abhi Yes I was using the mobile version. I guess its network problem. Sometimes the connection gets lost and when you refresh the page, the reply gets posted twice. Happen only sometimes though..

To get traffic from digg, you need to get a few diggs for your article. For that particular reason I have started this thread so that we all can develop a community at digg where we can help each other to promote their content. Once you get 20-30 diggs for your article you can easily land on the front page of digg and your trafic will go viral.

I agree with you. Stumbleupon traffic is useless as it is neither targted not does it help in limiting bounce rate and average page view time.

When you want to see/promote posts by those you are following on Digg, click on the number of ppl you are following on your profile, their profiles will be listed and you can click them and randomly digg their content.

As for stumbleupon, they may not stay long on your site when they visit but it will drive up your pay per view ratio which means you can make more money by having more visitors so it's not a total loss. We should all share our stumbleupon accounts too. The more our names are out there, the more they are worth for things like Adsense.

Also, blogger has gadgets you can add which will display social networking/bookmarking share buttons on every post. Those are probably the easiest way for us all to Digg each other and stumble, etc. They are better than the Digg buttons.
