Which is the best entry level digital camera (SLR)?
Hello Guys,
I know we have some outstanding photographeres (bloggers) here and I am planning to buy a Digital SLR camera Canon EOS 1000D. It is priced around 22 - 23 K. I would like to know if its a right entry level camera to buy.
Also if anyone could suggest me any good DSLR at that same price point then please do reply. I tried to evaluate 1000 D based on images I saw taken by the camera in Picasa.

The best entry camera according to me is H series from sony its cost varies from 14 k to 19 , it has features of DSLR with regular digital ones, plus the added bonus of 3 year warranty is suffice to get used to camera. Now 20 optical zoom is available from Sony.
Thanks Umesh for the suggestion but I am interested in pure Digital SLR..I heard pentex and sony both have good entry level SLRs. I am not a pro in photography but I don;t know why my heart is just stuck with canon 1000D
