How do you use twitter for getting more visits?

I find sites like twitterfeed helpful because when I post a new blog post, it is automatically tweeted on twitter as well.

Sites like tweetmeme are also useful to gather more readers to your posts by sharing it with more tweeters.

Twitter is good for the fact that a blogger can interact with other bloggers and readers much faster than regular blog posts.

If your posts are good, then you will have lots of followers and your posts will get tweeted.

I am using the feedburner twitter integration feature for auto tweeting on blog update

Autotweeting is good but I think interacting yourself with follower can create much value like thanking them for retweet etc.
