Ad deal Agreement?
Has anyone here executed an agreement finalizing the ad deal for a blog? If so, please share the following information:
1. terms and conditions to be included in the agreement (Appreciable to share a document if you have)
2. Have you produced an invoice for such a deal? if so, pls share the format
3. Taxation (Service Tax or VAT) to be included in the invoice.
Ask your advertiser to pay you using PayPal. Simple procedure,
Step 1: Create a PayPal account, if you dont have (remember, you need to have a PAN card).
Step 2: Raise a Payment Request in the PayPal. here you can describe your advertisement agreement.
Usually, its the position of the ad and Time period, which is critical.
Also, write a statement which says, if your site is down due to the hosting provider - there could be temporary nonavailability of the advertisement.
If its the agreement for a longer duration, you can also make a point that - you will relocate the advertisement banner based upon your other advertising opportunity. (basically depends on what your deal is)
Step 3: This payment request will be an invoice for him. Once he makes the payment, you will get the same copy along with the payment confirmation. This document, will be helpful for filing taxes here in India.
Step 4: You can choose to transfer it to your online Bank Account and the money gets deposited in a week.
These are the steps I followed. Will appreciate, if someone has a better idea.
