Wordpress API Service Issue
Guys I am trying to import a Wordpress back up file but I am not able to install the Import for Wordpress plugin.
It says "An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request." You guys have any idea?
Why don't you export the articles in wxr format and import it onto your new blog?

thanks Mohan! The importing plugin itself gave an issue.. hence posted this one ;)
You can also use the WordPress Database Backup plugin to take backup in .sql format and then import the database through phpMyAdmin.
well I know this method for sure but here i am helping another friend of mine, the difference here is that we are using WP for a website an not for a Blog.. so instead of blog posts, its pages.. and there is some mods that were done in that xml.. hence i need to do it via XML only
