I have slipped 3 steps ... mohanbn.com now @ 77. I know, i wasn't regular for last month.

Also my Google PR dropped from 2 to 1... Anyone else with similar drop here?

My Google PR remained at 3 since Jan 2006 even though I didn't make any posts for about 4 years. But I get a steady stream of visitors (sometimes ~2500 a day) for one particular post.

Interesting! My overall page views reach ~2000 a day!

Hmmmm ............ then pageviews may not be a major criterion

I have little idea about these Alexa and GPR scoring system

But for alexa, page views does count!

So you may have a good Alexa rank.

But even this is confusing. I have two blogs with similar Alexa rank even though one gets ~2000 pageviews a day (the one listed here) and the other gets ~100 pageviews a day.

I don't give much attention to these ranks anyway

Mohan, you probably have deleted one thread about Indian Idol today 'coz that wasn't related to blogging. How come the Advani topic is there for so many days? Just curious, and no offence meant to anyone. I think we can be a little lenient about the thread topics.

Thanks Mohan , I was expecting a drop in rank  as I was not regular last month. I refreshed and found the same rank. Thought it is not out yet.. Then I find this forum topic. I had to go back to Indirank stats and cross check.

@ Deepak - Man, but Gauti was dismissed in the first over in both the innings of this test. :P

hmm looks like not many were regular last month! wondering if all had similar reasons to not being regular.

@ Deepak - yeah, I would have rather gone into the test with just Harbhajan alone as a bowler and picked 3 more batsmen. We could have atleast saved the test. I don't see these bowlers picking 10 wickets in an innings - leave alone picking 20 wickets in  a match.
