Help! need advice on Bombay hotels
I did a post (http://trivcap.wordpress.com/2010/07/12/bombays-great-hotels/) on this topic but all I got were votes, but I'm really looking for advice and recommendations on where to stay in Bombay when I'm there in the fall, as I've not been there for a while.
I normally stay at the Hilton-Nariman Point, now the Trident (I've stayed their 8 or 9 times and it is great), but am looking for a change of scene because this time I may be staying for many months and would like to immerse myself into the city. I'm considering the Grand Hyatt residences in Santa Cruz, as well as the Taj Residences, the JW Marriott, the Taj Lands End (and some others, if you follow the link above).
I am looking for a place that is close to night life and is abuzz with activity, so the smaller hotels are out.
Any advice from Mumbaikers would be very much appreciated.
thanks in advance.
