Use social media,its fatest way to get traffic

try Stumbleupon ....I found it very useful.

Few things which may help you

Write regulalry. Fix up a frequency like once in a week, twice a week etc according to your conveninece but make sure you follow that.

Leave comments on blogs who write on the same topic as yours.

Use social media but please be sure you do not end up spamming others account. Post your blog link on Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter.

Be active on blogger forums like IndiBlogger. Let the world know your views and be active in discussions. Better would be initiate some discussions (I am not good at it!).

Remeber there is no easy way out. You may have to slog for long time but keep blogging.

There would be lot opportunities of you-scratch-my-blog-and-I will-scratch-yours which may be helpful in short term but in the long run content will be key. Keep writing compelling posts. Kepp blogging.

i couldn't ever understand this thing about, my blog gets more hits than yours argument. Instead of wasting time, trying to increase hits, just write from your heart na.

I too have a counter on my blog and I too, feel great if i get a lot of hits. but that doesn't mean I spend half my free time thinking of ways to increase my hits. Why is everyone so obsessed with it.

I'm not being critical, I just don't get it. Totally in for an argument if anyone's interested.
