Indivine-Clarification & Suggestion
I do not know what is the criteria to retain a post under '48 hrs' & 'latest'. Can some body explain how long a post is retained under these heads. There would be several posts under 'latest' and it is impossible to read them all even selectively.
My suggestion is that posts under 'latest' should remain for a period of say 36 to 48 hours only and subsequently shifted to 'Beyond 48 hrs' (replacing '48 hrs'). The 'beyond 48 hrs' posts can be retained for a period of say 1 week. Similarly posts under 'Popular' can be retained not beyond 2 weeks.
48 Hrs- Posts under this category have been submitted in the last 48 hours, and are ordered by the number of votes.
Latest - These are ordered by the time submitted (newest to oldest) regardless of the number of votes received.
I agree that the popular sections have become a bit stagnant... we need to find a way to refresh these categories - will look into your suggestion, thanks!
