I comment to say Hi! How about you?
Yes I comment to say Hi... !
I keep one hour each day for just visiting various blogs of interest and make it a point to write my comment. It helps in many ways;
- Great way to start a communication.
- Build a network of friends and bloggers who reciprocate the same.
- More traffic to your site.
- Most important is to increase the knowledge base reading the blogs.
When internet is all about 'sharing is caring ' then comment is the most powerful tool to prove the same.
Like to hear your views and comments of course
PS: I comment in sync with the posts I read, and my comments are more than just a "Hi"
To make the topic interesting I left it with a "Hi" Space constraint!!
Reason: detail
Hi !!! :)
Thanks and the same!!!
Hi Hii Hiii!!!
Thanks and the same (3times) !!!
$hi=1;
for ( $hi = 1; $hi <= 4; $hi += 1) {
echo $hi;
echo "<br/>";
}
HTML codes not allowed. Need some human response!
Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Jor ka jhatka dhhere se laga!
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From the Gym!!
Yeah I agree but i gets damn irritating when a person leaves a "nice post, happy blogging comment" I think one should comment if he has say something worthwhile or add to the post.
Err, don't exactly agree. If I like something someone has written, and really don't have any intellectual gibberish to dole out, why not give a simple 'Nice Post' comment? :)
Very true Yogesh! Many times I am at loss of words reading some good articles, and 'nice post' are the last two words I could find in my dictionary to write.
Ah! Finally someone is there with some real comments.
Thanks and yeah feel the same.
But as a first timer to any site, a simple 'Hi and nice post' might start the ball rolling. It then depends on the receiver whether he responds or ignores the comment. If positive you have a friend, if negative... well.. keep going, net is very vast.
Thanks to indiblogger. A simple 'Hi' is pouring in friends (spammers too!).
Good to know so many smiling faces behind the hi hi hi!!!
Hope to get many more friends here. Keep connected. I am following you.
for(;true;)
{
s.o.p("HI");
}
A bit difficult to assimilate. A non- techie
lol
@ Sanjeeta,
It keeps wishing you HI indefinitely
Thanks for the explanation. It makes things better. I was about to send a S.O.S about this S.O.P
Phew!!
Anyway, repeat the same code from my side, a indefinite Hi to you too
A human response!! No HTMLs
Thanks, even I feel dizzy reading the same!
Thanks !!
Hi Sanjeeta,
I am browsing your blog and drooling ;-)
I am kinda introvert blogger, but well said a Hello or Hi can make a lot of diffference. So keeping in mind, I will definitly post a comment now on.
Venky reminds me one blogger in Hindi community of bloggers. He just post "nice" to every post [I am guessing he comments without even reading the post] submitted. So there was one post on Women Awakening blog regarding complaints and issues with man's ego, and he commented 'nice' :)
And the crown goes to Richa ! For truely going through the essence of the forum topic and replying!
Thanks Richa. There are goods and bads in everything that we come across. And comments are not left alone. So we get friends and spammers while commenting on other blogs.
It depends on us to select and comment on the blogs we like and after we read the content. That comment will be genuine and we will surely get a fellow friend blogger.
Best wishes.
@Rich I dont comment that way. I always have something to say about anything :-)
Most of the people who comment "nice post, keep blogging" kinda comments to just get traffic back to their. This will the essence of blogging which is sharing
When you get a good comment and a long list of followers.
"All is well"
Thanks Sanjeeta for the crown :) And I will keep in mind to COMMENT on posts I like.
Her comments are more sharper than any sword! Bach ke rehana..
Beautiful thought Richa.
Keep in touch.
Hey Sanjeeta,
I hope the dishes on ur blog taste as good as they look ;) Hehe JK. Bookmarked LiteBite for future reference :)
Hi!!
Try out the dishes and then let me know. Thanks for bookmarking. Nice to meet you.
Like the header (image) of your site. beautiful picture.
Best wishes, keep connected. Take care
to say hello and to say I like your blog-it makes me feel at home!
Hi Varsha!
Indeed platforms like indibloggers and commenting on fellow bloggers blog, are what makes the world a sweet place to live.
There are people out there who really care to share.
Thanks for all the remarks and I do share the same with you.
Keep connected and commenting, take care.
Hi Sanjeeta,
very true that a simple Hi can roll the ball....
but it feels good when our readers comment says something more about the post.
It gives the feel that they read it and enjoyed it. and I liked what you said, sharing is caring .
Sure you will get good comments. Keep visiting sites of your interest, read and comment more often. Most of them will reciprocate if the content is worth commenting.
Best wishes.
I never knew, invitations are required for commenting!!......*Grin*
I think he exchanged the Tee with the shoes on Addy' profile!
You prove the saying "Sharing is caring" !
You raised some good points here which I agree too
Comments surely help to create networking among bloggers, but I am against commenting just a "Hi" or "nice blog" etc because such comments are made "mostly" by persons who just want traffic irrespective of the quality of the content which they post.
The blogger will surely get more connected with a person who comments thoughtfully rather than the one who just says hi.
Comments do create an impression about the person who is commenting.
So a "Hi" comment does not represent a true reader even if he has read the blog.
On a lighter note you must have already got a taste of your own mode of commenting, by the well thought out and interesting "HI" comments above.
How did you feel when you saw the comment from Richa after all the "Hi" replies?
Thanks for the toughful comments.
And I thought all bloggers are out here to promote themselves. My Hard disks had lots of bytes to store the articles and read it to myself. Why internet?
What when Indivines, votings and asking for reviews are doing good rounds here. These are good marketing tools to reach out to people. And comments are one among them.
I am just using a marketing tool effectively to get readers and friends at the same time.
A "Hi" which is used just to build traffic will have a natural death then and there, unless it is writtten in sync with the content of the post.
Yes Richa is a good netizen.
And I am proud of my mode of commenting I am getting to know people I never would have thought of reaching.
PS: No benefits from this thread I have only 4 followers from Indibloggers to my site (Addy, Mohan, Varsha, Shweta) who are with me much before I started this thread.
I am your follower too Sanjeeta its just I am under the name of singrv :( [coz google follwer didnot take my real name and prefered username of wordpress]. And it does not mean that I have become follower just like that, right now taking break from kitchen after long time. I will see you soon on your blog.
Well what to say, we cant force people to comment. I get 19 votes on my post without any comment. Its true commenst are more important than 'votes', everyone knows it but thats the irony.
But I have decided and make a rule for myself, "to comment on the post if I like them" and vote if it deserve it.
Im still trying to figure out the whole indivine and liking posts thing..But what Richa said makes complete sense to me..
