chennai places of tourist interest
Hi Indibloggers, any one know the best blog about the "chennai places of tourist interest". When i ask my friends in chennai, most of them suggest Theatres & Theme Parks, Beach only.
Apart from that lot of is in chennai.

I would say it depends on the interest of a person. If you are looking for something peaceful with serenity , my suggestion would be,
i) Drive through ECR (it would be good if you have a Car).
ii) Golden temple at Vellore & Auroville - Pondy (offcourse you might need to be religious and good to visit with family).
Some how, I don't like Theme parks & restaurants as they are mostly overcrowded. Interesting part is these days, most of the good restaurants are also over crowded, you got to wait or make advanced booking most of the times its noicy with not so good service and hence you can't relish the food. Well, not sure its only my thought(catching up with my age.. 
) and others feel the same.

I would like to visit interesting places with-in Chennai city.
Places like Guindy Park, ValluvarKottam, Egmore Museum, Perambur Rail Museum.., if anything like places..
