Feature Request : Can we send Message to other bloggers

Yep, admins are reading! The only problem is however is keeping certain members from spamming others.... messages like "Please read my blog post and post a comment" can become chaotic. The only option I see is to have a seperate place for messages on IndiBlogger itself, that way bloggers are not bombarded by emails in their regular inbox...

Thoughts?

Renie,            Do you mean a separate Inbox , yes that's what is I am talking about, Optionally if user want they can set up alert, send me alert whenever i get msg.

nice idea, i will suggest you can allow directly send message with right to block the sender, so there will be no spam problem.

so in this way if i do not want to receive from any member the message , i can block him temp or permanantly

third is only chat between my  network memembers will be good  also.

i agree with what SM has suggested. the idea of a separate inbox for messages can be encorporated, and the option to chat with people in your network can also be added in time

Also it will be gr8 if people have control over their status as in yahoo or gmail. This will make it something like live chat & will also help in reducing spam.

Well Yeah It would be nice feature if they allow feture like live chat or something like that, Where Bloggers can exchange their ideas & views.

Their would be too much messages and spam if feature of sending mail would be allowed.

we can have a inbox... and u can include chat if u want later..

also have an option for the user, if he/she doesn't want to recieve personal messages...

Sorry to sound totally different, but why not just use Twitter?

This is like turning this into Orkut or someother Social NetWorking site. Which can be a good thing, isn't.

We can have a complete bloggers forum which can also network up us all with people we wish. Can be a good move.
