Really, I never thought of it as the fulfillment of the biblical prophesy, didn't see those as still relevant in any way. I think, from a Sociological point of view, it's just Jews from countries like India (& other developing nations) going t Israel to fulfill their need for clannishness (not pointing fingers here, we're all clannish in our own ways) & also they see better prospects.
There are still a ton of Jews in USA & I don't think they would dream of going back to Israel.
I don't know about clanishness. There are big divisions between Ashke**** (from eastern Europe) and Sephardic (originally from Spain / Portugal) Jews. Culturally they are very different with one group often discriminating against the other.
It is heartening to know that what unites every religious or racial group in the world is a combination of hypocrisy and bigotry. Where would be without these important values!!

See the 2000 years of history of Israel and the scattered Jews around the world.Their persecution are gruesome around the world.The catholic papacy united with Adolf hitler brought nearly 6 million jews being exterminated.This is not hypocrisy and bigotry of that people.They became scapegoats for all untoward blames cast on them.The hypocrisy and bigotry of catholic papacy and ****s stand for racism.Don't we agree on these issue!

My latest post is a short story about Holocaust. A horrible part of our history. I feel that religion should be a guide and not overtake our life. That is when we lose sight of what we are , just humans.
The Indian Partition is the biggest proof.
Its true pine apple that the religion should guide us to the universal good but not to take over our life.I have seen your blog it's so beautiful and informative!
