Does adding pictures to you blog post increase it's facevalue?

Hello All!

A nascent blogger here. I wanna know, if adding a picture relevant to you post help improve its face value? Or it depends on your blog?

I could but I want to use only original content in my blogs. And clicking or making my own pics would be kinda.................

And please go thru my blog and suggest if adding pics would help in my particular case.

Hopefully the awesome blogger community would come forward to help!
