Improve Your Visibility on Search Engines with Squidoo
As many of you know I have been raving about Squidoo. Squidoo ranks very high in the Google search. Imagine what it can do if you can get a link back.
Well, Su, Wandering Gypsy, Indian Pundit, Binary Day, Kabeeranban, Renie, Quirky Mon, Reveda. Go and see http://www.squidoo.com/Blogroll-India I have put your blogs in there (without your permission ofcourse, but I am sure you won't mind). I am in the process of putting up a few more (Adarsh Rao comes to mind).
Note that I have not ranked any blog - it is in the order in which I filled it up. You may vote for your blog or others' blog.
But the rest of you - you also can put you blog there. Or your friends. As long as th eblog is by an Indian. And not only that. You can rate the blogs as per your liking.
Please let me know if you like the idea.
Please also note that this is not a replacement of Indiblogger. Indiblogger remains close to my heart.
Besides, you will notice that I have not put up my blog.

Note that the presently I have not ranked anyone. The order you see is just the way I entered the blogs.
I am pleased you all liked the idea.
Oh one more thing - you may add any number of unique blogs as you wish to. It need not be just yours.
Just in case you are interested inknowing about Squidoo, please visit the Wiki on it. The Wiki indicates it as the top 500 site. I read somewhere it is now 300. I really hope the links that are going to be there will help all Indian bloggers.

I just realized that to add you blog to the blogroll you need tobecome a member of Squidoo. I am trying to work out a solution to by pass this need. Meanwhile, I recommend that whoever wants to add his/her blog and vote becomes a member. It is free anyway.
Just so that you know - I had typed in 9 blogs. There is already one more. And I can see 3 votes. So some of you have become a member to take advantage of Web 2.0.
Note that you can grab the list in the form of a widget and place in your blog and encourage your readers to vote. Meanwhile, all those who do not want to become a member but still want to add your blog to the list, please let me know. I will do it for you (though if there is a huge list it will take time).

Just in - the lens has just been ranked 515 in SEO category and 27,473 overall (compared to an estimated 150,000 lens on Squidoo).

This is incredible. The lens rating has jumped from 27473 to 15302 in a day. That is really encouraging.

The nice factor varies! I've an exam to study for, on Sunday! 
the chat thingy is coming in handy. it is so much more interesting not to look for replies addressed to u in a rubble. 
@One takes exam in teh stride, man! I bet you wouldn't have taken so many exams as I have . The trick is to give your bestshot and not bother about the result. Easier said than done. Not really. This is the only thing that will keep you sane.
Coming back to the subject at hand. The number of blogs listed have risen (20 when I last saw) but no one seems to be voting (for self and others). Come on folks! The idea is to raise the cream to the top.
I'll tell something! Actually I voted for Su in an accident when I was trying to figure out how the system works!
