Are we victims of our own Amnesic Nature ?

What happened on 26/ 11 in Mumbai was absolutely terrible and unforgettable.

We have seen this in Mumbai. There were people from all walks of life, all religion from all over mumbai. There were people from all over India and world. We have been seeing it across India. It is the same "The Bloody Wednesday" everywhere.

We have been asking and answering the same question “Where Were We” again and again, only to be invalidated and become “Victims of our own Amnesic Nature”.

Media went overboard again. The excitement of Breaking News was far more than the realisation of disseminating information and hamper security operations? It was a live telecast for all including the controllers of this ghastly terror attack.

Giving minute-by-minute coverage about ground realities and important activities by the security services is surely not a wise move and can never be justified.

Are we looking for figures and statistics and TRP.

Are we looking for Actions & Solutions for human emotions?

Are we going to console ourselves to be “Victims of our own Amnesic Nature”?

Terrorism is one of the gravest issues of recent times. To some extent, yes, we are victims of our own Amnesic Nature! At the same time, it is really not much a common man, who is toiling for his own existence every day can do about it. Sometimes, I dislike the helplessness of our government. Sometimes, I adore the thoughtfulness of our government in dealing with this issue. Certainly, the attacks have offended the sentiments of us all but what if we follow suit? It won't take much time for us to destroy Pakistan! We believe in peace and patience. We believe that things can be dealt with more constructive ways. Pak is just the opposite. We don't even know whom to deal with this issue in Pak. That is the biggest problem, unfortunately!

Just in case, if you would like to read my take on this issue.

@ Shashank I couldn't agree with you more.

A free press is seen as a central component of a healthy democracy. Off late everything is being used, misused and abused.

Press like politics has become a business. I would rather put crude and say "dhandha". A candle march for everything...

I will certainly read ur post.

@Neeraj thanks for your comments and my apologies for doing that early.

Terrorism was there in every civilisation and society, but  there were never made heroes.

We elect our government and we both become helpless for next couple of years. We pay taxes and again pay for our security, perhaps again and again.

It is not a question about Pakistan. We just want to "Negotiate Peacefully".

It is sad we dont know who in our country will and can really deal with such issues. "Unfortunately.
