Use of EVM, Voter-ID, Affidavit for court cases/ assets of Candudate, more assertive Election Commission etc.s have all added to the credibility of Indian Elections. What is the next big Electoral Reform you would like to see?

Internship must for MPs/ MLAs : Candidature should be announced minimum one year in advance so that electorate have a chance to evaluate candidates' response to various issues and events. It will also allow candidates to exhibit their concerns and abilities before their electorate. Recognised Party Candidates to be selected through mini-electoral process. Inner part democracy to be strengthened.

Build a public portal to evaluate elected representatives:

Yearly review of MLA/MP's performance by the people. The Govt. should create a portal and open it for public (who register in the site, with legitimate addresses etc.,). People from the respective constituencies should be allowed to rate the performance of their respective MLA/MP/elected representatives in the site and set some targets for the MLAs/MPs to achieve (and be made public). The party and people can review the performance of the MLAs/MPs periodically and assess whether they are good or bad and determine their political future.

Bonus related to performance. Granted this system can have loop holes, but if we build proper checks and balances, it is possible to achieve this.

Right now ,there is no objective way of measuring the elected reps' performance.
