Amitesh, when someone faces some trouble, he/she will obviously come to the forum asking for help and creating a new thread/topic for that is not really criminal  Not everyone knows about the contact page or where to find it. There are many bloggers who are absolutely new to blogging, who have just started out and are still finding their ways. Following rules is no doubt necessary but let's not be so rigid about the rules that we become absolutely blind to a problem faced by a fellow blogger.

I am new on indiblogger.  Can you tell me how to post a blog on indiblogger. What is a permalink, I mean can you give an example. How to know if my account is active or not, how to know if whatever I right in blog is updated here or not.  I am not able to view myself on home pages anywhere.  How to do that. Please help me.

Welcome aboard  I don't know how well will I be able to clear your doubts but I can give it a try. 

1. Can you tell me how to post a blog on indiblogger.

If you wish to share one (or more) of your blog posts on Indiblogger, you can do that through Indivine - https://www.indiblogger.in/indivine.phpOnce you are on this page, you will find a "SUBMIT A POST" tab on the right side of the screen, click that and fill up the form.

Permalink means the url of your blogpost. For instance, if you are looking to share your blogpost - Burning Sky and a Salesman, its url or permalink would be -https://world4womencom.wordpress.com/2016/07/02/burning-sky-and-a-salesman/

Copy this above link and paste it in the permalink box on the Indivine page.Then write down the post's title - i.e. Burning Sky and a SalesmanType a short introduction about the blogpost and so also any tags related to the post, if you want to, or else you can leave the tag columns blank.Finally click on "Submit post" button and in the next few seconds, you will get a "success" message.You also have Indispire - where fellow bloggers suggest a topic for the week and based on the votes given by others, a topic is chosen and one can then write about it on his/her blog and share it through Indispire - https://www.indiblogger.in/indispire/.

Additionally, whenever you participate in a contest or a Happy Hours campaign, your post upon getting approved, automatically and simultaneously gets posted on Indivine. So that way too, you can share your posts on Indiblogger.

But please keep in mind that other than these places (Indivine, Indispire and contest submission pages), you are not supposed to share your blog links anywhere on Indiblogger, whether it's in the forum threads or in the chatbox. Like I said, a permalink means the URL of your particular blog post - like https://world4womencom.wordpress.com/2016/07/02/burning-sky-and-a-salesman/

You can check your profile page by clicking on DASHBOARD (right at the top), then on the right side, look for "View Public Indipage".Scroll down and you will find all your latest posts on your blog showing up on your Indiprofile as well. 

4. I am not able to view myself on home pages anywhere.  How to do that. You mean, on the home page of Indiblogger? Well, that section is meant for the popular blogs or the currently trending blogposts. I have never bothered about that section because none of my posts has ever been that popular to get into that list, probably because they lacked merit I am happy that way 

Since you are new here, it will take some time to get used to this place but I am sure, you will start loving it if you remain regular and keep participating in the various writing prompts and contests etc. You might still be having a few more doubts, so the FAQs section would probably be the best place to start.
