I have a blog <snip>, which is a lifestyle blog. I am getting emails regarding product promotions for travel, clothing and other products.

Write the truth. Even if it's bad. Because people can smell promotion from a mile away and that's simply going to diminish and decrease credibility and loyal reader base in the long run. Post exactly the way it is, because being diplomatic in conclusions and mid portions create confusions with buyers and readers- and that pretty much also would decrease loyal reader base and credibility. There are many PR-journo/blogger FB groups like Media Movements.
