Wordpress Jetpack comments vs Disqus Plugin

Hello Fellow Bloggers,

I see that many of you use Disqus as their comment plugin. I too have started liking it. I wanted to ask you - 1. those of you who use it have any particular opinions, findings, tips about this migration (from Jetpack Comments to Disqus)

2. What happens to the existing comments on the existing post. Would they be shown further as old Jetpack comments or do they get updated to Disqus?

I once installed Disqus, it washed away all my comments, likes, and social shares. Jetpack works just fine for me.

All the existing comments will be migrated from Jetpack to Disqus.
