Corporate Bloggers..
I was just wondering if something like this exists, infact...there are 'bloggers' who write for our corporate websites; not sure if any of them does upload posts on their personal blogs too.
In case of any confusion in the definition of corporate blogs:
1. They talk about their in-office experiences
2. They talk about their experiences at the client place
3. They focus on comparitive analysis with respect to the competitors
4. They talk about the informal aspects in a 'formal setup'
5. They highlight the in-office bottlenecks and suggest mitigation plans
6. Corporate events etc.
Is there anyone on indiblogger who has a dedicated section on their personal blogs, focussing on the corporate aspects? Do connect! :)
I don't think it is legal to discuss work place, competitors, strategies, analyses on social media. Most organizations have their own in house blogging platforms, to have this sort of analysis published for the benefit of their own employees, as part of Knowledge Management Initiatives, but I doubt if they would want to let this knowledge out of their Intranet.
There's nothing illegal about this... depends on what you write and how you write :)
Never heard anyone blogging about such things. Or maybe it's just me who doesn't know anyone doing it.
That is exactly why I created this thread. :)
Even I want to know whether something of this sort actually exists!
Yes, this might help us while looking for a job

i started writing in generic about it on my personal blog (got embroiled in other things and lost the steam) but never posted it on corporate blogs
I plan to do it but not on my personal blog - probably on the corporate blog within company network.
Yes, this is a trend that began a few years back with slow and apprehensive steps. Companies weren't enthusiastic as no one was clear about the role of blogging... and there weren't people who could be trusted to take charge of this as it was, at best, just another extra assignment that is a 'headache'. :)
A few multinationals were gung-ho and the among the first to adopt this trend were the institutional wb-portals that encouraged blogs. This was probably because institutions felt they had the right people who could write intelligent things to mask the overall lack of almost everything in reality. This logic still hold good for many corporate blogs and bloggers... they are, at best, masks or cretors of masks.
