Guys, I never meant making any conflicting statements of conclusions. I raised a question in the IndiOne thread asking what will happen if someone is approved to join IndiOne and then fails to maintain the required cutoff IndiRank to be allowed to apply for it.

And I'd like to make it clear that I haven't got any information about the status of the IndiOne application, whether it is approved or rejected.

Guess I am happy. I have always wanted Three Realms to do better. But Lucifer House is better suited for Indi one as It is more general purpose blog while Three Realms is niche and I don't even entertain awards/tags or contest posts there.

Moz Rank increased, Alexa decreased, External Juice passing links increased... but the over all Indi Rank stays at 81.

BTW, I had applied for Indi One last month. How do you know if you have been approved or rejected?

In two months, my blog has got two slam dunks from the Indirank...the change is taking it's toll. I hope it will adjust after the whole thing is over.

I gained in alexa but I guess the new algo doesn't take alexa much into consideration saying tech blogs gets advantage..

I think the folks at IB are just messing around. How can it be that with improvements in every metric my rank went down 3 points? Yes - in every single metric I've seen improvements. On the other hand I've never been more active on the blog as I have been in Aug, in terms of posts posted, yet the "updated" metric went down. This is the only metric to go down even though this Aug has been my most prolific, in my entire blogging career. I see a big increase in Alexa - almost double. Is the better Alexa rank acting as a penalty? I don't have a tech blog... far from it.

Confused? Big time!! It's not that I care deeply about the rank, it just bugs me that it all seems so illogical and irrational. I hate it the unexplained.

Check my stats, Alexa jumped almost double yet no reflection in ranks, it stays same.. Infact compare to last time, everything has increased, though not as high as alexa but everything is in positive

A negligible 2 point jump from 61 to 63. Pretty insignificant, even though August has been my most active month on the blogosphere
