Links inside your blog post- are they harmful?
Friends, I had read somewhere that giving "do follow" links inside your post can be dangerous and you might be penalized by google. So, I want to know whether links I use inside a post pointing at different content of my own blog or my another blog are also harmful or not. Please enlighten.

P.S. If you have any article on your blog which answers the query posted by members, you too can share the link. No one is stopping you. 
Another thing. Sign up for webmaster tools. If Google notices unnatural link profile, it will notify you.

@ Ranjit - That means whenever I am writing a blog post for contest I should add the NO follow attribute?
Yes, going strictly by Google Webmaster Guidelines, the link should be nofollow.

Never cared about these rules.. I just kept on blogging.. Personal view though.. Used link where it is needed.. that is it..
