hehehe... just now after posting my stories on blog I realized tht they are not short as I was thinking as usual  I have written enough long  ..

Personally I prefer large number of consolation prizes, instead of just 1 or 2 fat runner-up prizes. So that more number of people have a chance to get a place in the list.

Still, I am hugely surprised why this one did not recieve a large number of entries, despite having 50 numbers of consolation prizes on offer.

May be becasue both travel-related contests (Skyscanner and British Airways) were running concurrently, and people exhausted their box of ideas writting for Skyscanner one.

hmm yes .. at least my idea box is empty though I didnt participated in skyscanner contest.. bt being a  lazy person 3 entries fr oen contest is no less thn a huge task fr me

saket...dove play didnt even have main prize...just the vouchers...go figure that out

@nandini .. both contests Dove n BA r totally different dove was a short duration contest wid a limited theme line.. here in BA writers have an open space to dig their brains n come out wid the unique n creative ideas .. moreover winning a 2500 salon voucher jus in a week is a treat (I hope IB will pamper us wid more such treats) whereas in regular contest results and the voucher sending process takes at least 4 months time so obviously we can expect more prizes as well..

@Bhavana - Lazy people will never write 3 entries 

I think there are so many travel related contests going around which may have led to lesser number of entries. Even kissan is giving travel packages only. 

Gaurab.. laalach buri bala hai jiske kaaran first story likhi .. later on two more ideas clicked in my mind so jus couldn't stop myself .. didnt write thm fr contest only bt I love tht idea ..

yeah similarity of contests and prizes as well.. I think now the sponsored should come up wid some different ideas regarding prizes .. like gift hampers or choice of shopping website (rather than limiting towards a few websites )

I think specific prizes rather than coupon can be an interesting option :) Watches or gadgets for example. 

yupp gadgets or accessories could be a good option or they can also give us a choice like what would u prefer kitchen ware or electronics 

bhavna..ebay contest was only for 10 days --- it had 3 main prizes besides the vouchers...so its not short duration or anything like that....different contests are set up differenty i guess

Yeah, ND. You post wherein you have killed the guy is shorter than the one you have spared everyone's life.

Saket Killing the characters makes the reader remember the story for a longer time 

I dint kill anyone .. all 3 stories r happy endings though initially this killing idea was in mind but then I thought many ppl wud opt this so ...Go Further .... 

saket.. tht was an obvious guess according to the theme, its the easiest way to show the intensity of love (bechare lovers ko shaheed kar do baaki duniya khud unko mala pahna dega ) and I dnt like sad endings
