Did any participant (who had a vlaid entry and the entry got published on Indiblogger) receive the 'Ring The Bell' mug?
No, I didn't receive it. And I think no else received it. If that was the case, someone would have posted a photo of the mug here.
I didn't receive anything. I never do
u will u will....one day u will
Even I have not received the mug
ooohh...*jealous* not recieved mine yet
but don't know how to post it here.
Upload it to Dropbox / Picassa / Flickr / Blogger and copy paste the image here.
Nandini Stop crying. Renie is thinking of sending you a mug filled with masala dosa.
mug mei dosa??
After several trial and error methods, this finally worked.
Thanks @Ranjith, you understood that the question was angled toward you. :)
thats looking awesome...*drools*
Wow Now I want my mug too
@ Nandini Dosa juice.
Is that a picture of the mug or the scene from your window? I liked it a lot - the greenery
@Ranjith the coveted mug is resting on the boundary wall of our house. Yes, there is lot of greenery around. Thanks.
I received the mug it was broken, it was the first thing i ever received for my writing skills the broken mug has really broken my heart, kind of making me superstituous.
Bluedart should be taken up for such shoddy service.
My family received the Mug yesterday and the handle was broken :(
Can't sip coffee in it, will use it for holding pens. :)
I dint receive the mug so far .:(
This is what i got today!!! but I'm hopeful Renie would send a new one someday [wink]
I don't know what is the better proposition- Getting a broken mug or not getting it at all !!!
AS you got something..be happy
Avadhoot sahb aap bhi [measured Smile]
This is so bad and unprofessional!
Sfurti, considering that you haven't received this mug yet, I'm planning to share 1/3rd of it with you...phir tum bhi 'happy' ho jaogi [wink]
yes Pankti, the packaging part was just nil... mug was so nice...I loved it [heart-broken Smile]... but anyway I'm never going to part with my all-time favorite red-coffee-mug [wink]
AS, it's good you can joke about it. In your place, my reaction would have been bad; I hate the unprofessional approach that I am seeing a lot over here.
but as you know I'm a coward I can't react in your way, though I would have loved to [wink]
i think something heavy was kept on top of these boxes of mugs....delicate items shud have 'handle with care' warning sign on their packaging....i wonder if they forgot to do that
Arey it was for a noble cause. I don't care about professionalism. Infact since they obviously lack the sense of packaging I think they shouldn't have offered anything in return. Infact they shouldn't in future offer anything.
No one wrote anything for these mugs. Let's all forget the mug!
Sfurti, you are right that none of us wrote for mug. My only problem is saying something not following it through. Even if they hadn't promised a mug, I would have written about it. The problem is not doing the things properly.
PAnkti I agree with you totally, but saying all of us should let go of the mug OR the dream of the mug...It was for a good cause, Chaddo yaar!!
i dont think they'd break them on purpose, its a pure case of poor packaging by IB or whoever packed and mishandling by the courier company, we didnt write for the mugs...but they'd have been a cute momento having participated
who is fighting??
Annunoy, Pankti, Sfurti, Vijay, Nandini, Avadhoot, Renie, Arti, Hemal, Sorcerer, TF and NANDINI
Ranjith you are dizzy out of hunger I think. Go eat Dosa
why u took my name twice??
Firstly, nobody is fighting here... secondly it is like the 'feel good' certificate you get after blood donation, so 'feel good' items are always priceless aren't they?... thirdly, may be they should have sent us a token of appreciation card or something instead of a heavy mug, even that would have saved postal charge... cheers guys [smile]
Mine was broken too! In total pieces...
but that's fine, even I wrote the post to do my bit towards a social cause..
Even i didnt get the mug...:-( yet
No worries. I too haven't got the mug until now And looking at these broken mugs, not feeling sad about it
even i'm not feeling sad that i've not recieved it yet...lol
I'm feeling sad because I want a broken mug and I did not receive it.
somebody give their broken mug to ranjith
Ranjith you can't eat dosa in a mug, broken or otherwise
he can put sambar in the mug and dip the dosa in that sambar to eat
curious case of the broken mugs
btw how many mugs you got...one u posted above near the balcony was pretty good n unbroken right?
@Nandini one beautiful whole mug and one broken one received. The third one is still due.
Madhu you got Mug in multiples??
same pinch Madhu [grin]
Don't throw away those broken mugs. Use your creativity to make a good looking showpiece from it.
everyone do not have origamy skills like u do, you see
hmmm, i could smash it into smaller pieces and stick them on a white tile to make something which I will then throw away. :)
Or, we could send all the broken mugs to the creator of the Rock Garden in Chandigarh. He has created amazing things with broken stuff.
Give me one then talk ..
No mugs yet. Highly unprofessional :(
