Which one are you ? A Hammer or a Nail? Why?

I am the hammer type. Why? It is strong and 'hammers' its way to fulfillment. What's your take?

It's kind of like saying "would you like to be the hangman or the guy getting hanged?"

Would it be too egoistic to say, I'd like to be the hand that holds the hammer?
Nail is better. Hammers job is to only place a nail, where as nail serves the purpose. Also, there are many alternatives for a hammer, in fact any strong substance can replace it, whereas a nail got no such alternatives.
