The new Era of 5D cinema
In recent years, 3D cinema has been accompanied with synchronization of some live as well as special effects installed in theatres. 5D cinema has given the restoration of 3D glasses; and in addition to that, there are many other physical elements introduced. That is, the theatre seats move and wobble; the hall is filled with fog and smoke; and then there are water drops and different smells that have their intermittent introduction into the theatre to complete the overall 5D experience. This new era of virtual reality is bound to give the audience a hair rising experience!
well actually spatially we have 3 dimensions and the 4th dimension is perceived as time, so technically that is just a fake 4d nothing more. The 5d stuff and all is just promo material, you can't possibly have such a thing called 5d cinema and as pankaj pointed its not new, its happening for many years, maybe very few places though and thanks to advancing time, must be gaining more popularity and a way ot make more money, nothing more.
Well i'm no physics nerd but yeah we live in a 4d world but there are studies going on to prove the existence of upto 24 dimentions. Yes 24.
Well 5D does not mean that 2 more dimensions added. There are 3dimensions as we all know. Basically 5D = 3D+ live atmosphere effects (such as tilting of chairs or fog sprinklimg, Air blows behing or front of your chair) so that when there is raining you can actually feel that or if wing blows in movie you can also fell that.
