Thanks Renie , that was a good info in that link !

But I have one more doubt , how do i transfer my existing content in wordpress.com to wordpress.org hosted blog ?

Do i have to pay anything to wordpress.org for transfering the content and to use wordpress.org platform ?

@ Amol

Thanks for the info !

A bit of info search led me to kno that wordpress.org software is completely free to download and use.

I found that php and MYSql is mandatory for using wordpress.org platform.

Am planning to book a host space in net4.in

Any one have any idea about how good net4 is for webhosting ?

Avoide Net4 / ManasHosting..

See if you can manage a cPanel based hosting or not..

Thanks.

Net4 would be costly and will give you less space for more money. try hostgator on which this very forum is hosted. though i have not tried yet, but it seems good.

Net4 package is :

100 Mb for 899 Rs / yr

and php and MySql for Rs.1500 / yr

I don't think i would be requiring more than 100 mb / per year to startwith .

or Do I need more ?

:S

My blog is already 69 mb after blog posts of 9 months. The space will be taken up by images that you would upload and your themes, widgets etc.
