Blogger Setting help

In the new interface of blogger

we come across site prefrences in the settings options 

which have so much to offer to us ......when it comes showing up our blog

on the search engines .......

but with a warning ......."if got wrong , ur blog can get  neglectedwhat should be the default settings for that ?
