My first contest I participated was "Soch lo" contest, in which one had to dramatize writep of divorce, and how you would handle it. My post was good, but at that time, content didn't matter much , just votes. And I was new. So didn't get much votes. So didn't win. Then serious debates ensued whether vote count wins are good or not , pros & cons, etc. Then vote begging issues too came up. So, thevote count win system was over & done with for the better. I can't rem. First person at indie, but first true friend at indie was Unknown, then the list grew.

1. First person to meet on Indi? Oh that was DS. I pinged on Inditalk and he ran away. 
2. First person I talked to? Abhi.. he replied to a doubt I had. 
3. First blogger I followed via Indi? Aame, of the blog My Dear U. 
4. First forum I commented on? On an Indirank thread.. October 2010 wala. 
5. First forum I created? It was a silly doubt.. I wanted to know how to untrack a forum thread. 
6. First contest I participated in, or won prize for? Nope. I have not participated in a contest so far, so no prize either

I remember that first contest i participated in was the one where one had to write a short-story on the Fiat diesel car... and I did not win though I was actually in love with that story that I wrote.

Strangely, the results of the second contest that I participated in were declared before the Fiat people could decide on their winner... and I was one of the winners in this. This second contest was where I reviewed the Samsung Tab and thus not only won a Tablet but also became an official Mob!ler for Samsung.

I wish i could remember the other 'firsts'...

• Who is the FIRST BLOGGER you followed via Indi? - Saru Singhal. On the first day I joined Indi, her poem "I am not Alone" was on top of Indivine posts. I read and I commented. I have been an ardent follower of her beautiful poems ever since.
