The Kissan 100% Real Blogger Contest
Our first contest for 2012 is out - who wants to get in touch with nature this year?
We are open to more suggestions on the prizes - as long as they are nature holidays, and within India, it's all good - so you can pretty much choose where you would like to go as long as it's within the budget!

For those having doubts about this contest, here's clarification from Vineet:
Hi Everyone!
About the clarification on the contest topic - The topic invites you to share your stories where while growing up you had experiences close to nature or your roots. For example, maybe the walk in the park with your dad everyday when you were five. Or maybe even the stories that your grand mom used to tell you, and NOT watching TV. Or playing football in the heavy rains of Mumbai. Interpretation of nature does not have to be some exotic locations or your travel. These are all experiences that take us back to our roots. This is not a travelogue contest :)
The Fool's interpretation is correct: A memorable incident from childhood or involving one's children if one has any involving close interaction with nature". Nature having a broader definition of course!
Hope this clarifies!
About the travel, the dates are flexible and you can redeem those for a duration of six months!
Wow! so many of you have already finished! I am still writing this out - Does anybody know if there is a word limit?
Relax guys... take your time... It seems they have extended the submission date!
There's no mention of word limit, so let it flow... don't stop until you're pleased ;)
Ok! So I have completed my post and published it! - Its a tad long but its from my heart! If any of you happen to read it lemme know your thoughts
thanks!
now going to read your feelings
Votes don't matter, and the deadline for submission has been extended! Enjoy!
7th...
It spells ---> A N U N O Y
I need to get started on my second post
Einstein
I am done with my posts .. feel happy about them too. :). Now to get off the funny ride and study for the exams. Tomorrow never comes, does that mean he will never be an Einstien Arti?
Who was the Einstein: The Fool or DS? Are they studying in college now?
Hehe, our einstein will invent tomorrow also, faridaji
@Ranjith: Whats the connection between einstein and college?
All the Best for your exams, do well to-be-einstein-of-tomorrow!
hehe that is such a cheesy goodluck wish!... anyways I don't know how to write a second entry for the same theme
@Vineet, @Pooja - Here's the Kissan ad
I am reminded on seeing that picture about a similar campaign by Clinic Plus where a small sachet was attched to the ad.
Now this is too good. Will think on this and come up with something
Hey all, i may sound a bit out of league, but speaking practically.... Neither i promote much of the posts of other indibloggers nor am i much active on indiblogger's forum. Do i still have a chance of winning solely on the basics of the orignality of the content and creativity ?
No offences meant. :)
There were considerable number of winners who fall in the same category as you. So, even you have a fair chance of winning. Being active on the forum and promoting your posts has no effect on your chances of winning. The contest page clearly states: INDIVINE VOTES DO NOT MATTER
All the best!
whoopee.. here's my entry http://hawk-lady.blogspot.in/2012/03/mulberry-memories.html
wish everyone here good luck!
My entry is now done after five and a half hours of hard work.... but the outcome was something different from what I wanted it to be :(
My entry is up.. I am happy Thanks IndiBlogger and Kissan!
So many amazing entries out there, All the best to all the participants!
Thanks a ton Ranjith, your comment made me so happy All the best to you too, loved your take as well, you write directly from the heart..
Done with my second post as well. So this year I begin with two by the book entries for both the contests. Now fingers crossed for both results.
