Let's play with kangaroo words
Kangaroo words are words that contain other smaller words within them that have the same meaning, just like a kangaroo carrying its baby in its pouch.
An example is chicken. If you write it as cHickEN, and put together the words in caps you get HEN which means chicken. Get the drift?
Here is an article that has more details:

1. Exhilaration

Jimmy, proper is not correct. The reason is, the letters of the shorter word must appear in the same sequence in the parent word. This condition is not fulfilled by proper, the r comes out of sequence in appropriate. The correct answer is apt.
I believed you are from Kerala. Can you think up a couple of kangaroo words in Malayalam and post them here? It will be very interesting.
Mr. Balasubramaniam, now I get it. The rearrangement is not permitted.
I will have to try really hard to rake something up in Malayalam.
That is correct, the sequence should be the same. There is one more small rule that must be followed. The letters of the smaller word should not all come in one bunch, they should be separated by at least one letter of the parent word.
