Well, so there is a God after all. The deserved two shall meet in the final. It is Sri Lanka who beat Australia and will set up a repeat in a 3 match final series.
Adios India, and enjoy few more days of shopping.
Whatever. You know, every one in office was wanting Australia to win. I told them straight, I want Sri Lanka to. India doesn't deserve it. Even if they do find themselves in the final through some sort of "luck", I would pray they lose 2-0 to Australia, coz they won't change that "tried-and-tested" "world champions" "once cheered by all" etc music till they know that all that was erstwhile.
I mean, I'm as big a fan of the team as any other. Hell, I sat up late to watch the India Pakistan WC match in 50 over SA WC back in 03, when next day, I had my 10th standard board exams. But when I hear the words, "Hey, Aussies fixed the match so that they wouldn't have to face the world champs", I feel like, "WTFH! The ~world champs~ got held to a ~tie game~ chasing 230, they lost pathetically to Aussies chasing ~250 odd~, their ~wc winning skipper~ played at a strike rate of under 30 in those games, and in one ~nothing to lose~ game against Lanka, they won heftily and the past b****ers are forgotten so easily? "

Yesterday , i witnessing this match among the huge crowd which included Doc, nurse , Patients , house keeping etc and bloody everybody wanted Aussie to win. SL won and i was only one who cheered and everybody was puzzled to see me cheer , One person , asked why was i supporting Sl , I replied since they played better , he was not conceived at all . Since i was for the client side he had to hear whatever i say . But match didn't look that interesting , way Watson , Doherty and D hussey got out looked deliberate .
Yes even now the match is poised interestingly 293/8 29 to win off 21 balls
Hope series wraps up today , with a thumping victory for Aussie . So that SL can concentrate on winning Asia cup .
