Licenses on your blog

Hi All,

I am not much into license stuff... but I have always used Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License. Which allows anyone to copy part of my article with due credit to me and not making money out of it.

Recently I visited few blogs (from co-indi bloggers). They had this Creative Common (Same as mine) as well as protected (using CopyScape or stuff like tha).

Now I am confused as whether users are allowed to copy from these blog or not? It is kind of contradictory (isn't it?).

I would like to hear your view on it. Which one should a blogger prefer?

It's not contradictory, because creative commons allows the reuse only by the manner mentioned by the author. In my case, I have given the message, written permission of mine is needed for redistribution.

So you can clearly mention, what do you mean exactly by reuse and what are your conditions

It's bit of contradictory as CC allows re-use with proper attribution, but CopyScape warns you to copy a single line Undecided
