Lesser known blogs of unknown strangers
I thought I will create a thread where we can share good blogs that we may have discovered that have limited readership. But let us avoid posting our own blogs and that of out friends here. This is just that odd blog you just stepped into and came out with a Wow feeling and wondered why too many others are not following.
And I start this.
The blog link
http://buddhistinspiration.blogspot.com/
This is a blog about Budhism. I really love the koans the blogger posts. And it is a well maintained blog with nice pictures and formatted well. I noticed this blog on the blog roll of one of my blogger friends and the blog was dormant for 6-7 months and always used to be in the bottom of her list. Then suddenly one day the blog woke up and I have loved reading the posts there. And the blogger has even disabled comments. So I could not even communicate with her. Probably she just writes for the love of writing without bothering whether anyone reads or comments. I recommend everyone to check it out.
I too noticed the site is very well formatted, kudos to Koans for enlightening us on buddhism even though majority of the posts are referring to far east
One blogger of late i liked very much was harithemusafir who has been posting lot of travel blogs, Tanmay too posts lot of blogs on varied subject matter, and few others i will discover and let you know
http://omsrishti.blogspot.com/
I found this blog thru the blog of a friend...from what i could glean the author is running an NGO in orissa but his thoughts are unique and profound...i go there for perceptions sometimes..like a mantra to meditate upon...
Blogs that I find here on indiblogger, I add to my network if I find them to be good and interesting. However, there were two blogs that were so exceptional that I have decided to follow them via my Blogger reading List:
http://myrootsmywings.blogspot.in/
http://lifeunpacked.blogspot.in/
However, I have not looked into their numbers of followers. Maybe they already have many, and maybe they are not appropriate to this question.
Thanks Micky for reviving this old thread. I will go over these blogs. It will also help if you add a brief note what the blogs are about. We must do our bit to bring to light those folks who are excellent writers and produce content of value to one and all but don't put the effort in marketing themselves.
2ndlook.wordpress.com - Comprehensive Posts, Rajiv Malhotra's blog on Sulekha ( The best) - No need to tell anything.
http://hara-hara-mahadev.blogspot.in/ Satyam Shivam Advaitam - Veda and Upanishada, commentary.
http://krishashok.wordpress.com/ - This guy doesn't update his blog frequently. But if he does, its sheer ROFL. And he has a good number of followers. Check out his tumblr page also, from there.
