Here are my first impressions of your blog-

Good points:

• A diffrent blog with Impressive content, tips are easy and very useful :)

• the use of pics to complement the write up takes the reader in!

Things you could work on:

• To many gadgets in the sidebar. Increases the page load time.

• The search button can be slided right up because many people could be looking out for some specific tips and may need the box first on.

• Reduce the number of posts on home page to max 5.
• The highlights in the sentences is a distraction and strains the eye. I would love to read text in plain format only.

Rest is good, keep improving and keep blogging
