Here are a few suggestions:
- Move the followers gadget just below the about me page
- There is no need to display the live traffic feed. The colours used in it do not match with your blog.
- The news from microsoft and other companies also serve no purpose
- Add e mail subscriptions so that your readers can stay in touch with your blog
