Somehow i didnt get the background linked ot your blog title Center shocked!

The Background is straining on the eyes when you try to read something. Keep something simple or make sure its not affecting the readabitlity. You write good so keep it up.

I feel the color should be changed from black to other soothing color like light blue etc.

I've kept it as black cauz its the only readable colour across all text colours; i use a lot of colour. How did u like the background image?
