I am currently a F.E student in DMCE, Navi Mumbai, doing civil engineering. I've been blogging since Oct,2010 and this is my first and my most personal blog. I've been trough a huge change in my life but I believe that this journey is not yet over. Infact, I believe this is just the beginning (coz I'll be soon entering my adulthood). My blog is my own self-created space where I can claim it to be completely mine. On this road that runs beneath my skin, I share my experiences with my readers through this blog. I'm still not sure which direction is his road gonna lose me to...but I know my destination...that is self-acceptance. I wanna be free from all my prejudices. Free from all those things that I chain myself with. I want to be free from myself. I can already feel this cloak wearing off my skin. And I blog to help others to break-out from their self-guilts too.

  • Same old blogger URL -> millions of similar blog..
  • theme is not good at all, hurts the eye.
  • write up / posts needs beatifications.

There is a difference between talking and writing. I not an expert or i never studied literature but still its pretty common that a post jammed packed with write up would turn a visitor back to even before he starts reading.

Article needs to be short and linked to another one and so on. Every one wont share similar interest, hence options should be there to chose from.

i've be appreciated 4 my theme, but just like u said, not everyone share the same interest. And believe me, i feel happy (in some kind of way) as for the 1st time, i've been criticized. The long posts you were referring to...they were actually my movie scripts. There are shorter ones too! And the theme; i actually changes it a week ago. Guess the previous 1 was better. Thank you so much :)

Statistically speaking, successful (in terms of visit count) blogs look complete different than yours.

But I agree on one factor, its your blog. Its your own place and its you should take the call.

The major thing I would say is the URL.. Man, it takes Rs. 500/- a year to get a domain.. I am 100% sure, you drink more cold (hard not sure) drink a year if compared. Your domain is a must i always think..

i don't need a domain. I am a BLOGGER and without 'blogspot' in my URL, i won't be 1 anymore. :P ;) Jokes apart. I am not sure if my reader's count is really that great. I do write movie-scripts (which appeared to you as my long write-ups) and that could be one of the reason for so many viewers. I know they seem boring to you, but believe me, people loved my work and they'd demanded for more. though i have my XII board examinations in the coming weeks, I've decided i won't stop blogging, because my blog is something i can claim to be completely mine. A place where its just my works and my following. i've got a few loyal readers too. i don't care if i get only 100 pageviews a month, but as long as MY LOYAL readers are happy with my work, I'm happy.
