I was let down by the nagging Javascript alert that you have on load of your blog.

The content is good. could improve the look of your site. I feel the site has more distracters in the form of ads and links.

I agree - you need to get rid of that javascript! Other than that, have you checked your template in Firefox? It looks a bit broken.... let me know if you would like a screenshot.
