Janya, you seem to be chasing your goal with a true passion. Awesome!

My only tip for now would be to change your tagline. "It’s all about Environment, Philosophy and Philanthrophy with some humour in between" doesn't say anything about Janya - which appears to have taken over your bog anyway!

I'm sure other bloggers will soon join in and give you some good tips on promoting your blog.

Hi Renie, Thank you for your comment. When I started this blog a year back it was about lot of things :). But now that I started this program few days back, it's more about educating the under-privileged students. After few years this will be on educating our farmers on how to increase their output with technology and education. 

As suggested, I changed the tag. I hope that sounds ok. Thank you very much again.

Just checked your blog - and I agree with Renie, that the tagline needs to be changed. Apart from that, I only have good things to say. Kudos to you for having the courage and the conviction to follow your dreams.

I just read through your blog..and besides being informative..it really makes people think of the less fortunate. You write well and have a good flow of thinking.

On getting donations for your cause, I would stress the point that the donations are tax deductible. This also makes potential donars have faith in where their money is going. Also, maybe get some famous names to endorse what you are doing. One name is enough to get some focus on your cause. Try talking to Churches, Missions etc. You will never know who will end up helping the most until you try knocking on all the doors.

Hope you reach your goal and help as many children as possible. I was a teacher and taught preschoolers and elementary school students...so I know how important a good educational environment is for a child.

Nalini: I highlighted it. I hope it reaches more people. I would be happy to see any of you contribute too. I would like to wait for an year to see the progress and then get someone to endorse it. I think it's too early for anyone to endorse yet.  We will post the progress reports on bighelp.org.

I will knock on more doors and get as much help as possible. Planning to organize fund raising event too. Let me see how much I can accumulate by June. That's when the schools start. Thank you for your input.
