Please review my blog. I have put in four months of effort to design it. I know you all will laugh at that. But I am a doctor, and everything in that site have been designed by me - including the logo. It has very less content, but hope for good in the near future. Some feedbacks will be encouraging.

The foremost and best thing, domain name. Short and sweet.
The design and simple and clean.
You can remove the latest activity on Home page, it is not required.
Improve the loading time of your website. It sucks for readers and Google wont rank you for having slow website.
