I looked through the blog and here are the points I'd like to bring to your notice.
1) The background is too loud, makes reading through the content a little difficult - try adjusting the transparency of the main columns, that should make it better.
2) The color of the blog name makes it a wee bit unreadable.
3) You might want to watermark your photos, I have seen lots of fashion bloggers use it - it prevents copyright issues.
4) Read up on what fonts are most readable on the web to make the blog easy on the eye.
Otherwise, you are doing a great job... keep going and good luck! :)
I have a few suggestions... 1) Try a darker background OR find a background with a different pattern. I think the colors and bright atmosphere is uplifting, but the paw prints are a bit confusing, and a darker background may make it easier to read for long periods of time.
2) I don't see a problem with the font, as long as the title or header is the only text with that font. The body should remain the same basic text.
3) I am a firm believer in expression, but consider adopting a color scheme. Just an idea.
4) Take a look at major make-up company websites. What about those websites seems appealing to you? Take notes and implement anything you feel inspired by. Otherwise, I'm going to have to read your blog more often. ^_^
