I like the look and feel of the blog. Here are my suggestions:
Cut up your blogs, so that your front page gives only a brief excerpt from your post. This makes the blog look snappier and well, more professional.
Fill something up in the sidebar, not necessarily ads, but something - anything.
Look at 'force justifying' the content format.
