Besides the good things what i feel you should improve is:

• Size of font. Its too small, the basic font should altleast be size 12.
• Highlight the name of blog. A blog name should be highligthed well so that readers will tend to remember it. Your blog's name can almost be dismissed for an ad!
• Your "category" section is pretty down and pretty long too. Choose a simple way to show labels than the current arrangement. You could use the "cloud" like arrangement. That will give you efficiceny in the space section.
