You have a good writing style. On the technical aspects, 'labels' in Blogger are like categories. Try to think of a few broad categories your posts can fall in and create label names for that and publish each post under one label. Bring the subscribe by email and facebook page up, on the sidebar.

As your blog grows, display a popular posts widget on the sidebar. Try to see if there are any options for increasing the font size in your theme. Right now it's too small and not everyone is aware of 'Ctrl +'. The travelers check-list is a good idea. Try to write smaller paragraphs - They are easily digestable.

But on the whole your new blog creates a positive experience (especially because of the way you write), so keep it up!

Loved the layout of your blog... so visually apealing! Reading about all these lively places is so much more interesting than googling about them.. i could actually imagine the place.. the pictures are also really nice.. i don't think you need any advice when it comes to blogging.
